Operating temperatures and performance
Radiant tubes are designed to operate in a temperature range between 750°C and 1150°C, maintaining structural stability and continuous operation even during prolonged production cycles.
Types of radiant tubes
Depending on plant requirements and furnace configurations, radiant tubes can be manufactured in different geometries:
- I-shaped
- U-shaped
- W-shaped
- P-shaped
These configurations allow the heating system to be adapted to the specific requirements of the furnace and the production process.
Recuperative radiant tubes
2M also manufactures recuperative radiant tube solutions equipped with internal elements that allow heat recovery from combustion fumes. The recovered heat is reused in the heating process, helping improve the energy efficiency of the plant.
